Once students apply for the residence permit online, they must submit the “student registration form for residence permit” along with the required documents specified in the form to the International Student Office of the University’s Directorate of Student Affairs Department on the same day they complete their online application (or the following business day, if applied weekend), between 10:00-11:00 A.M in the morning or between 15:00-16:00 P.M in the afternoon. Failure to submit on time will be the student’s own risk.

! ANKARA UNIVERSITY ANNOUNCEMENT REGARDING INTERNATIONAL STUDENT ADMISSIONS
As per the decision of Council of Higher Education’s General Assembly dated 23.11.2023, it has been stated
that examinations related to International Student Admissions (YÖS) conducted by universities themselves
have been abolished; and within this respect, the AYÖS examination conducted by Our university will no
longer be taken into consideration or under evaluation for international student admissions for the Academic Year of 2024-2025.
As of 2024-2025 Academic Year, the programmes that admit international students based on students’ success rating will only be accepting the TR-YÖS examination. These programmes will include: Medicine, Dentistry, Pharmacy, Veterinary Medicine, Nursing, Midwifery, Law and all Engineering programmes.
